  1. In process: If your credit card application is still being processed, it will show the ‘In Progress’ status.
  2. On-hold: Your credit card application status may show ‘On-hold’ if your credit card issuer is waiting for an important document or is waiting for your credit score.
  3. Approved: The ‘Approved’ status means that your credit card application has been successfully accepted and your card will be dispatched within a few days.
  4. Dispatched: The ‘Dispatched’ status means that your credit card application has been successfully processed, and now the card is also dispatched.
  5. Rejected: The ‘Rejected’ status means that your credit card application status has been rejected. This could be because of various reasons like low credit score, poor credit history, etc.

  • How long does it take for my HSBC Bank Credit Card application to be processed?

    Every credit card application HSBC receives will take a minimum of two weeks to process. The first two weeks, or 14 days, will be essential for the bank to validate and process your application, while one week or 7 days is required to dispatch the same to your address.
