Step 1: Check eligibility for linking 

  1. If you currently have a savings account with Federal Bank, the Bank may link your credit card to the account at the Bank's discretion. 

Step 2: Select the preferred account (if you have more than one) 

  1. If you hold multiple savings accounts with the Bank, you can select a preferred account to link your credit card to. 

Step 3: Access the card account via Internet Banking; or Fed Mobile 

Once your card is linked, you can: 

  1. Log into Internet Banking with your existing User ID 
  1. Manage your card account through the Fed Mobile app; and 
  1. Easily track transactions and view statements; make payments! 

Step 4: Consent to the use of KYC information 

  1. By proceeding to link your credit card to your savings account, you are consenting to Federal Bank using KYC (Know Your Customer) information that you have previously supplied for the savings account. 

Step 5: How to delink your savings account move forward 

If you decide at a later date that you do not want to link your savings account with your credit card move forward:

How to Get Your Federal Bank Credit Card Reissued or Replaced

If you need help to request for a replacement card if your card is lost, stolen, physically damaged or damaged due to normal wear and tear. You must follow the instructions carefully below to get the reissue or replacement card smoothly. 

Step 1: Identify the problem with your credit card 

  1. Make sure you have identified whether your credit card is: 
  1. Not working or is defective 
  1. Physically damaged or mutilated 
  1. Lost or stolen 
  1. You should not try to use your credit card once you have identified the problem with the card. 

Step 2: Go to a Federal Bank Card Division Centre 

  1. You must go to the Federal Bank Card Division Centre, where you can apply to obtain a new card. You can find a Federal Bank Card Division Centre in your city or locality and bank staff will help with the process to replace or reissue another card. 

Step 3: Application for replacement 

  1. Speak to any bank official and request a replacement credit card. The Bank will assess your request, before approving or rejecting your application, at its own discretion. 

Step 4: Payment of applicable charges 

  1. It is likely that a nominal fee may apply to the replacement of credit cards. You also will have to pay any applicable charges, if any, in accordance with the Bank's prevailing fee list, at the time the new card is issued. 

Step 5: Properly dispose of damaged cards 

  1. When you have a damaged or expired card: 
  1. Cut the card in half, including the magnetic stripe. 
  1. Return the cut card to the Bank as soon as possible. 
  1. Do not attempt to use a damaged card or expired card.

  • Is the Visa Imperio Credit Card subject to any joining or annual fees?

    There are no joining or annual fees if your card is issued after 3 April 2023. If your card is issued before that, then you will need to continue with the same annual fees/terms and conditions applicable on the date of issue of your card.
