How to Find TIN Facilitation/PAN Card Centres

These centers are operated by Protean eGov Technologies Limited (formerly NSDL- National Securities Depository Limited) and are located all across India to take care of PAN applications and related requirements.

The following are the Functions of a TIN Facilitation Centre or PAN Card Centre's/ Offices in India:

1. They receive TCS/e-TDS returns from collectors or deductors and transfer them to the central system of TIN.
2. They receive hard copies of TCS/TDS returns from non-government collectors/deductors, and non-corporate organizations and transfer them to the central system of TIN.
3. They collect Annual Informative Returns from individuals and transfer them to the central system of TIN.
4. The TIN Facilitation centers receive applications from individuals for allotment of new TAN (Form 49B).
5. They also process requests to make corrections or changes in the TAN data in already allotted TANs.
6. The TIN Facilitation centers receive applications from individuals for allotment of new a PAN Card (Form 49A and 49AA).
7. They also process requests to make corrections or changes in the PAN data in already allotted PAN Cards.
8. They receive statements of Form 2G from Account Offices (AO) and transfer them to the central system of TIN.
