Documents Required for a PAN Card 2025

Note:  In case of PAN card application for minors, any of the above documents either for parents or the minor can be submitted as proof of identity

1. If an Indian citizen is living outside, then the address proof can be provided through a three-month bank account statement from the country of residence or a Non-Resident External (NRE) account statement. 

1. In the case of a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF), the head of the family (Karta) must submit an affidavit, listing the names of family members, their fathers’ names, and addresses of all members as of the date of the application. Along with this, a copy of any above document showing the Karta’s name should be provided to prove identity date of birth, and address.

The following is the list of documents that are requires for applying for PAN Card if the applicant is a student or a minor:

4. Last three month’s bank account or credit card statement 
5. Utility bills, such as electricity, gas, water or telephone Bill (not more than three months old)
