MSEDCL Maharashtra Electricity Bill Payment (Mahavitaran)

Given below are the steps you will have to follow in order to pay your Mahavitaran - MSEDCL bill online:

1. Visit the official website of Mahavitaran - MSEDCL.

1. Click on 'Electricity Bill Viewing/Payment' in order to make the payment directly.

1. Enter the Details like 'Consumer Type', 'Consumer No (12 Digits)' and 'Captcha'. 
2. Now, click on 'Submit' button. You can then view the bill on the Same Screen
3. You can directly pay your bill by clicking on 'Internet Explorer Symbol' under 'View Bill'
4. The Electricity Bill Bill payment details will show in Next Page. Click on 'Pay Now' button
5. In the next Step, Check complete details and Click on 'Check Box'. Again Click on 'Pay Now' option
6. Then proceed to make the payment using any one of the payment modes available - debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or e-wallets.
7. Enter the necessary details, following which you will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on 'Submit'.
8. Your payment has been completed. Save the e-receipt for future reference.
9. The system will then display the billing amount, following which you can proceed to make the payment.

Through e-wallets

You can visit any one of the e-wallets websites or simply open the e-wallet app on your phone. You will then have to follow the steps given below:

1. Open the e-wallet app on your phone or visit the website.
2. Click on 'Electricity Bill/Bills'.
3. Enter the state and board. In this case, you will have to choose Maharashtra and Mahavitaran-MSEDCL respectively.
4. Enter the subdivision from the list.
5. Enter your consumer ID.
6. Click on 'Proceed'. You will be able to view the billing amount.
7. Proceed to complete the payment.
8. Save the e-receipt for future reference.

Through mobile app

You can pay your electricity bill through the mobile app by following the steps given below:

1. Download the Mahavitaran-MSEDCL app on your phone.
2. Login using your credentials.
3. Once you have logged into the portal, click on 'View/Pay Bills'.
4. You can view the billing amount, following which you can proceed to make the payment using any one of the payment modes - debit card, credit card, UPI, net banking, or e-wallet.
5. Enter the details after which you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on 'Submit'.
6. Your payment will be completed. You can save the e-receipt for future reference.

How to Pay Your Mahavitaran - MSEDCL Bill Offline?

1. You can visit the nearest subdivision office in order to pay your electricity bill.
2. Make sure you carry the bill along with you in order to make the payment fast and hassle-free.
3. You can choose different modes of payment in order to pay your bill - credit card, debit card, UPI, e-wallets, cheque, demand draft, or by cash.
4. You can keep the receipt for future reference.

How can I get my address updated?

Given below are the steps you will have to follow in order to get your address updated:

1. Visit the official website of Mahavitaran-MSEDCL.
2. On the left-hand side of the page, click on 'Track Status, Upload Documents, and Pay Charges'.
3. Under it click on 'Address Connection'.
4. You will be directed to a new page.
5. Under 'Search By' choose any one of the options - Application Number, Consumer ID, Service Request ID.
6. Enter the value and the characters given in the box and click on 'Submit'.
7. You will then have to provide a proof of address which mentions your current address.
8. Follow the instructions given. Your new address will get updated.
