How to Pay KSEB Electricity Bill Offline

You can visit the nearest section office or Akshay Patra center to complete the payment of your electricity bill. Do not forget to carry your electricity bill along with you. Once you furnish the bill, you can pay your bill using credit card, debit card, UPI, e-wallets, cheque, demand draft, or simply by paying via cash.

Directly through e-wallets

There are hosts of e-wallets such as PayTM, Amazon Pay, Mobikwik, Freecharge, etc. to directly pay your electricity bills.

The steps are given below:

  1. Open the e-wallet app or visit the e-wallet website.
  2. You will find the 'Electricity' section on the page. Click on it.
  3. Enter the state in which you reside. In this case, you will have to choose Kerala.
  4. Select the electricity board, which will be KSEB in this case.
  5. Enter your consumer number.
  6. Click on 'fetch bill'. The amount payable will be displayed on your screen.
  7. Proceed to pay the bill. Follow the instructions and your payment will be completed.

  2. Under 'Recharge and Pay Bills', click on 'Electricity'.

Kerala Govt Introduces Scheme to Clear Long-Delayed Power Bills

The government of Kerala has introduced a special scheme for helping consumers in clearing their long-term electricity dues from 20 May 2025. This scheme is part of the government’s 4th anniversary celebrations and will offer significant discounts to consumers. The scheme is available for three months, which allows the consumers to settle their dues that are above two years. Those who had their electricity connections disconnected due to unpaid bills can also restore their service.

Moreover, consumers who have not paid their bills for over ten years will get a waiver of 18% interest. For those with dues between five to ten years, the interest will be lowered to 4%, while for those with dues between two to five years, there will be an interest rate reduction of 6%. The scheme also offers flexible payment options. Consumers who settle both the principal and the reduced interest in a lump sum payment will receive an additional 5% discount.
