The card includes:

1. EPIC number (serial number) 

1. Cardholder’s photo 

1. State/national hologram 

1. Name, father’s name, gender, and date of birth 

1. Rear side: residential address and signature of the Electoral Registration Officer

How to Download Voter ID Card Online?

Follow the steps mentioned below to download your voter ID card online:

1. Visit the National Voters' Services Portal (NVSP). 

1. Click ‘Login’. 

1. Enter the mobile number, password, and captcha code. 

1. Enter the OTP (One Time Password) to login. 

1. Click on the ‘E-EPIC Download’ tab. 

1. Select the ‘EPIC No’ or ‘Form Reference no.’ option. 

1. Enter EPIC number or Form Reference Number and select state. 

1. Click ‘Search’.   

1. The Voter ID details will be displayed on the screen.  

1. Enter OTP and click on ‘Verify’. 

1. Click the ‘Download e-EPIC’ to download your Voter ID card. 

Note: 

1. EPIC number is the voter ID number available in the acknowledgement received after submitting Form 6. 

1. OTP will not be received unless the mobile number is registered which can be updated by filling out Form 8. 

Here are the steps to update your mobile number to download your Voter ID card:

1. Visit the Voter Services Portal. 

1. Click ‘Login’, enter your mobile number, password, and captcha, then click ‘Request OTP’. 

1. Enter the OTP received and click ‘Verify & Login’. 

1. Under the tab ‘Shifting of residence/correction of entries...’, click ‘Fill Form 8’. 

1. Select ‘Self’ as the applicant and click ‘Submit’. 

1. Your Voter ID details will appear.  

1. Click ‘OK’. 

1. Choose ‘Correction of Entries in Existing Electoral Roll’. 

1. Click ‘OK’. 

1. Your state, district, and constituency details will be auto-fill.  

1. Click ‘Next’. 

1. Under the ‘Details’ section, select ‘Self’, enter your new mobile number, and click ‘Next’. 

1. In the correction section, choose ‘Mobile Number’, enter the number again, verify via OTP, and click ‘Next’. 

1. Complete the declaration, enter the captcha, and click ‘Preview and Submit’. 

1. Review your details and click ‘Submit’. 

How to Register for Downloading e-EPIC Card Online?

Given below are the steps you will have to follow to register yourself so that you can download Voter ID Card online: 

Step 1:  Click on the https://voters.eci.gov.in/. 

Step 2:  Click on ‘e-EPIC Download’ option. 

Step 3:  Click on ‘Register as a new user’. 

Step4:  In the next step, enter your mobile number and captcha for verification purposes and click on ‘Send OTP’.  An OTP will be sent to your mobile number.  

Step 5: Once you enter the OTP, provide relevant details such as your name, email ID, and password. Confirm the password by entering it again in the box given.

Step 6:  Enter your 10-digit EPIC number which you can find on your voter ID card and then register yourself. Once the registration process is successful, you can then enter your username and password to log in and download your Voter ID online. 

How to Download Voter ID in Digilocker?

Voter ID card holders can download their card from DigiLocker after storing it in the app in PDF format.

1. First download the e-EPIC card from Voter Services portal.

1. You can also download it from the Voter Helpline app. 

1. Upload the PDF format of e-EPIC card on DigiLocker to access it whenever required.

How To Download Voter ID from the Voter Helpline App?

The steps to download Voter ID card from the Voter helpline app are mentioned below:

1. Download the Voter Helpline App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. 

1. Open the app and tap on ‘Personal Vault’. 

1. Select the ‘Login’ option. 

1. Enter your mobile number, password, and OTP. 

1. Tap on ‘Login’ option. 

1. Once logged in, your e-EPIC card details will appear.  

1. Tap ‘Download’ to save the card.
2. The e-EPIC card will be downloaded to your mobile device.
