How to Register for UBI Net Banking? 

There are three ways through which users can register themselves for UBI Net Banking services. The following are the channels to register through: 

  1. Debit Card Holder: Users can generate a User ID and password through the ‘Self User Creation’ option from the official website. 
  2. Non-debit Card Holder: Click on ‘Register without an ATM card’ to register for Net Banking service to perform non-financial operations and examine banking information. 
  3. Commercial Customers: Registration for net banking for these users can be done from the local UBI branch by filling in the application form. 

How to Activate the Union Bank of India Net Banking Services?

The step-by-step procedure to activate for the net banking services is mentioned below:

  1.  Visit the official website of Union Bank of India.
  2. Select ‘Union Bank Net Banking’ under ‘Online Banking’ 
  3. Click on 'Self User Creation
  4. Select ‘Transaction Facility’ or ‘View Facility’ depending on whether you have a debit card or not
  5. Click on 'Continue'
  6. Enter account number, date of birth, Permanent Account Number (PAN), and verification code
  7. Click on ‘Continue
  8. Enter the debit card details and PIN
  9. Agree to the terms of use and click on ‘Continue’
  1. Enter the OTP received on registered mobile number 
  2. Click on ‘Continue’ 
  3. On the ‘User Access Credential’ page create ‘Internet Login Password’ and Transaction Password’ 
  4. Click on ‘Continue’ 
  1. After password generation fill in the ‘Internet Banking Login’ credential  
  2. Click on ‘Agree’, enter the valid ‘Captcha’ and select ‘Update’ 

Note: The bank takes 24 hours to validate the method. A conformation code will be sent by the bank to the user’s email ID and contact number. User can login after 48 hours. 

How to Reset the Union Bank Net Banking Password?

The step-by-step procedure to reset the password is mentioned below:

  1. Visit the official website of Union Bank of India 
  2. Click on ‘Union Bank Net Banking’ under ‘Online Banking’
  3. Click on ‘Forgot/Create Password’ option from the drop-down menu  
  4. Or, 
  5. Click on 'Retail User Login'.
  6. Select 'Forgot/Reset Password
  7. Select either ‘Online reset of Login/Transaction Password- Retail users having Debit Card’ or ‘Online reset of Login Password- Retail users without Debit Card’ 
  8. Click on 'Continue'.
  9. Enter your User ID and account number
  10. Enter either date of birth or PAN number
  11. Click on 'Continue
  12. Enter the OTP received on registered mobile number 
  13.  click on 'Continue'.
  14. Change the Login Password as per the instruction. 
  15. Click on 'Continue
  16. Finally, 'The password is changed successfully' will be displayed on the screen.

Checking the Balance using UBI Net Banking

Union Bank of India customers will be able to check the balance that is available in the account once they have completed the registration process.  They can login with their User ID and password to check account balance and conduct other banking activities such as fund transfer, download e-statement, pay credit card bills, and many more.   

How to Transfer Funds via UBI Net Banking?

The step-by-step procedure that registered net banking customers must follow to transfer funds is mentioned below:

  1.   Visit the official Union Bank of India website.   
  2. Click on 'Retail Login' (For business account, click on 'Corporate Login')
  1. Enter user ID and password, click on ‘Login’ 
  2. Click on ‘Transaction’ 
  3. Select ‘Beneficiary Management’ 
  4. Fill in the details required including account number and IFSC, and click on ‘Continue’ 
  1. Select ‘Fund Transfer & Payments’ and choose as per your preference 
  2. Enter the transaction password and OTP, and click on ‘Confirm Details’ 
  3. Select account from ‘Pay from Account’  and ‘Personal payees’ drop-down menu 
  4. Enter the amount, transaction type (NEFT/RTGS), and remarks (if any)

What are the Transaction Limits under UBI Net banking?

In order for Union Bank of India customers to use the NEFT services, the below-mentioned details must be furnished:

  1. The Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) of the branch the money must be transferred to.
  2. The beneficiary's name
  3. The account number of the beneficiary must be given as well.

Fund Transfer Timings: 

NEFT: 

  1. Weekdays: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 
  2. 1st and 3rd Saturdays: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 
  3. Sundays: NEFT transfer not possible 

IMPS: 

IMPS remittances can be done any day, even on Sundays. Bulk fund transfer should be processed before 6 p.m. so that beneficiaries receive the funds on the same day or by the next day.

Step 3: Scan your PAN card and Aadhaar card.

      User ID is case sensitive, so, check before entering it. If you are still unable to login, send an email to ebanking@unionbankofindia.com informing your issue. The bank representatives will reach out to resolve your issue.   

  • What should I follow while choosing my login password?

    Make sure the password has a digit, a special character, and a letter. It should have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 14 characters. The password should not have any space and also should not be the same as your last three passwords. 

  • Can I start transferring funds after adding beneficiaries?

    No, you cannot start a fund transfer immediately after adding the beneficiary. Customers need to confirm the beneficiary within 48 hours of receiving the tracking ID sent to the registered mobile number of the user.
