FASTag is a sticker that uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to enable electronic toll payments at the national highways. It is affixed on the vehicle's windscreen and the scanner present at the toll plaza scans the tag as the vehicle passes. The toll amount gets automatically deducted from the prepaid linked wallet or bank account.
