How Does Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana Work?

For this Yojana to provide medical benefits, an eligible person must enroll in the program. The Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana enrollment procedure is quite straightforward. How the procedure works is as follows:

  1. A list of families is maintained by government agencies like Taluka and Civic Centers. The list only includes families with annual incomes of under Rs. 4 lakh. The same list of families is also accessible via a BPL search engine on the MAGujarat website. Any vendor connected to the enrollment process can refer to this list.
  2. The income certificates of the families are used to construct the MA Vatsalya lists dynamically.
  3. The beneficiary family members should visit kiosks at Taluka or Civic Centers in their region to enroll under the "MA" and "MA Vatsalya" programs. The State Government has also introduced mobile kiosks at the local level in order to reach the greatest number of eligible families.
  4. All the necessary hardware is available at the Taluk office, Civic centers, and mobile kiosks for the enrollment procedure. This equipment is used to record biometric data such as fingerprint and iris scans. The family will also be photographed. The recipient might need to first complete the MA Amrutam card application form in Gujarati with accurate family information.
  5. The beneficiary will receive an MA Amrutam card, a leaflet on the plan, and a list of hospitals that have been granted empanelled status after the paperwork are verified. Once a family obtains these documents, the enrollment process is complete.
