Vietnam Visa On Arrival for Indians (VOA)

The application process for a Vietnam Visa on Arrival for Indian citizens is relatively simple and takes minimum time to complete. A VoA is a legal and normal way to enter the Vietnamese zone, and it is required to have one upon arrival at the Vietnam International Airport.

This is a much cheaper and simpler option to visit Vietnam. However, it is applicable only for applicants who enter the country via air at Da Nang, Hanoi, and Minh. This facility has 4 kinds of visas:

Step 4: The approval letter will have the visa application form attached. Both need to be printed. Fill the form with accurate details and have two recently taken passport-sized photographs, each of the size 4 × 6 cm. Keep some cash handy for paying the stamp fee (45 USD). 

Step 5: A copy of this approval letter is also sent to all the Vietnam Immigration Checkpoints at every international airport in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang. 

Step 6: Keep all of the documents (passport, approval letter, two pictures, stamping fee, and Vietnam visa application form) safe, as they will be necessary to show them to the immigration officer upon arrival at the Vietnam Airport. 

How to Apply for a Vietnam e-Visa?

  1. Open the official website of Vietnam’s e-Visa application and click on ‘apply’ button.  
  2. Upload the scanned copies of your passport and information page on the website.

  4. Make the e-Visa fee payment online through any of your preferred modes of payment.
