1. Open the official website of Vietnam’s e-Visa application and click on ‘apply’ button.  
2. Upload the scanned copies of your passport and information page on the website.

The following are the steps that you need to follow to apply for Vietnam visa through VFS Global: 

1. Visit the nearest VFS Global Vietnam Visa Application Center with the visa application form and passport. 
2. Collect the token from the security staff and wait for your turn at the Application Center. 
3. Go to the designated counter for submitting the document. 
4. Mention your visa application to the VFS officer with all your required documents such as cover letter, passport sized photographs, scanned copies of confirmed tickets, hotel reservations, and last three months’ bank statements. 

1. Next, you need to pay the visa fee and service charge. 
2. Once you get the approval of your visa, the VFS Global will dispatch the visa at your registered address via courier. 

Note: An online visa is only valid for candidates who are travelling by air. Individuals who arrive in Vietnam by boat or land should apply for visas immediately at the Vietnam Embassy.

Conditions for Being Granted an E-Visa

1. You must be outside Vietnam. 
2. You must hold a valid passport. 
3. You must not be subject to entry suspension as specified in Article 21 of the Law on Foreigners' Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam.
