Tatkaal Passport Processing Time

An application for tatkaal will be verified and processed more quickly than an ordinary application. According to this belief, passports are issued one week after the applicant provides the Passport Seva Kendra with all required paperwork.

This approach ensures you have an early appointment and expedited processing through a separate queue. Regarding police verification, the candidate's perspective will also be taken into account.

The passport will be sent out within one working day of receipt if the request does not require police verification. If a police check is necessary, it will be carried out following the issuance of the passport. If a police inquiry is necessary, it will be concluded after the passport has been issued.
