  1. There will be no refund if the passport price for an appointment has been paid but the appointment has not been scheduled.
  2. If several payments for the same passport fee have been paid, the Regional Passport Officer (RPO) will refund the excess payments. The online application receipt, which includes the Application Reference Number (ARN), must be brought to the PSK with the passport application.
  3. Applicants who pay online must select Print Application Receipt to get their ARN and receipt. There are no bank fees associated with challan payments.
  4. Once the applicant pays the passport fee, it cannot be transferred from one application reference number to another.

  1. A printout of the application receipt is not required for a passport appointment. The passport office accepts SMS with appointment information, such as the application reference number.
  2. The passport appointment can be rescheduled only two times within a year of the original appointment date.
  3. You may pay for your passport application through another bank's credit or debit card or an SBI challan even if you don't have an SBI bank account.
