The Net Asset Value (NAV) represents the total value of your holdings. It is determined by summing up all investments under the plan on a specific day and deducting the applicable charges.
ULIPs have a mandatory 5-year lock-in period during which charges are applied to your investment. Subject to the plan’s terms and conditions, after the lock-in period, you can make a limited number of partial withdrawals per financial year.
Yes, you can surrender or discontinue your ULIP investment, but it may incur Surrender or Discontinuance Charges, thereby reducing the accumulated returns, and terminating the life cover. Therefore, discontinuing a ULIP investment is generally not recommended.
