Citibank offers recurring deposits for its customers for tenures ranging between 12 months and 24 months.
The rate of interest offered by the bank for these tenures range between 2.75% p.a. and 3.00% p.a.

Customers can open recurring deposits with Citibank for a minimum tenure of 365 days. A short-term tenure of 365 days to 400 days will fetch you an interest of 2.75% per annum for deposits below Rs.2 crore. The yield would be 2.78%.
Citibank offers recurring deposits for a maximum tenure of 24 months. A medium-term RD of 401 - 540 days will attract the same interest rate as a short-term RD, i.e., 2.75% per annum.
But the yield on the total deposit will be slightly higher at 2.78%. If you choose to deposit money for a period of 541-731 days, you will get a much higher rate of interest of 3.00% p.a. The yield on the long-term RD will be 3.06%.
Citibank ensures that the Senior Citizens Deposits program provides a 0.5% higher interest rate than what other clients receive.
A specialized relationship manager is provided for clients with a high NRV, who also benefit from special promotional offers, faster loan processing, bigger credit and withdrawal limits, and preferential rates and services.
After creating a Citibank Savings Account, a new client may open a time deposit account with the bank. Any form of savings account that the bank offers is yours to pick.
